As our Fitness Centre Manager, you will lead and inspire your team while ensuring the smooth operation of the centre. You'll play a key role in driving member satisfaction, achieving business goals, and fostering a positive community atmosphere. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the fitness centre, including scheduling staff, managing member inquiries, and ensuring smooth workflows.
- Lead and motivate a team of fitness professionals, coaches, and support staff to provide exceptional member experiences.
- Develop and implement programs and initiatives that meet member needs and goals, such as group classes, personal training, and wellness events.
- Monitor centre performance, including membership numbers, revenue targets, and budget adherence.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for members and guests.
- Handle customer relations, resolve conflicts, and address member feedback effectively.
- Ensure all equipment and facilities are maintained in good condition and comply with safety standards.
Skill Requirements:
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams, even with less than 3 years of experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with staff and members.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- A passion for fitness and wellness, with a basic understanding of exercise, nutrition, and safety protocols.
- Customer service oriented with the ability to provide a friendly and professional atmosphere.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of budgeting, marketing, and operational best practices is an asset.
