Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of baked goods such as bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
- Accurately measure ingredients and follow recipes to ensure high-quality results.
- Assist in the setup and cleanup of the baking area, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Operate and maintain baking equipment, adhering to safety guidelines.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or issues.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to support a smooth workflow.
- Adapt to changing priorities and assist with additional tasks as needed.
Skill Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients.
- Attention to detail and timing to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40kg., and work in a hot environment.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- A willingness to learn and grow in your baking skills.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and pay attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
