Responsibilities:

Assess and evaluate patients' communication needs through observations, tests, and evaluations.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to meet individual goals.
Provide direct therapy services to individuals with speech, language, swallowing, or communication disorders.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, families, and caregivers to ensure comprehensive care.
Document progress, maintain accurate records, and report outcomes to stakeholders.
Participate in case discussions, team meetings, and interdisciplinary collaborations.
Stay updated on the latest research, techniques, and advancements in speech pathology.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding communication strategies and tools.

Skill Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Valid license or certification (or eligibility for obtaining one) to practice as a Speech Pathologist.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and other professionals.
Empathy, patience, and compassion to support individuals with diverse communication needs.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate records and documentation.
Adaptability and flexibility to work with individuals across various age groups and settings.
