Livestock Farmer (Full-Time Permanent Position)
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Livestock Farmer. This is a full-time, permanent position ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in animal husbandry. No prior experience is required, but candidates with relevant experience are also welcome. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with animals, learn about farming practices, and contribute to a sustainable agricultural environment.
Responsibilities:
- Care for livestock by ensuring they are well-fed, hydrated, and sheltered.
- Monitor animal health and report any signs of illness or injury to the appropriate team members.
- Assist in daily feeding schedules and manage the distribution of feed.
- Maintain clean and safe living conditions for animals, including pens, barns, and grazing areas.
- Record keeping of animal weights, breeding cycles, and other relevant data.
- Support with general farm maintenance, including equipment upkeep and fence repairs.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to all applicable regulations related to livestock farming.
