Join Our Team as a Tailor – Full-Time Permanent Position!
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented tailor to join our team in creating high-quality, custom-made garments. No prior experience is required, but candidates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Create bespoke garments from start to finish, including pattern cutting, sewing, and finishing.
- Accurately follow patterns and measurements to ensure garments fit perfectly.
- Sew using a variety of fabrics, linens, and materials, ensuring seams are straight, even, and durable.
- Use tailoring tools such as scissors, needles, threads, irons, and sewing machines effectively.
- Collaborate with the design team to bring concepts to life while maintaining attention to detail.
- Assist in selecting appropriate fabrics and trims for designs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
Skill Requirements:
- Basic understanding of sewing and stitching techniques (an advantage but not required).
- Strong work ethic with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in garment construction.
- Ability to follow patterns, measurements, and instructions accurately.
- Teamplayer who can collaborate effectively with designers and other team members.
- Adaptability to learn new techniques and stay updated with fashion trends.
