Wall and Floor Tiler (Full-Time Permanent Position)
While experience is preferred, we welcome candidates with less experience or those looking to start a new career in tiling. If you are eager to learn, work hard, and take pride in your work, this role is for you!
Responsibilities:
- Assist in reading blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the layout and requirements for each project.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and measuring to ensure accurate tile placement.
- Lay tiles, including natural stone, ceramic, vinyl, and marble, using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Mix adhesives, grouts, and sealants as needed to complete tiling tasks.
- Ensure that all tiles are aligned properly and meet required standards for finish and durability.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace while adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
Skill Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of tiling tools, materials, and techniques (experience is not required but helpful).
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
- Good hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to work with precision.
- Teamplayer who can communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Problem-solving skills to address challenges on-site.
- Willingness to learn and grow in your tiling skills through hands-on experience or training programs.
