Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily milking tasks, including preparing equipment, collecting milk, and ensuring cleanliness.
- Monitor and manage the feeding of cattle, adhering to established schedules and dietary requirements.
- Observe the health and behavior of cows, reporting any signs of illness or injury to supervisors.
- Maintain clean and hygienic living conditions for the animals, including stalls, pens, and pastures.
- Assist in rotational grazing and pasture management to ensure optimal grazing conditions.
- Keep detailed records of daily activities, milk production, and cattle health.
- Comply with all safety protocols, environmental regulations, and animal welfare standards.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain equipment and tools used in farming operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the dairy farm.
Skill Requirements:
- A strong work ethic and a passion for agriculture and animal care.
- Basic knowledge of farming practices, animal behavior, and dairy production (experience is preferred but not required).
- Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
