As a Diesel Motor Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related mechanical systems in accordance with safety standards and best practices.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine inspections and maintenance on diesel engines and related components such as fuel systems, cooling systems, transmission, and exhaust systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to identify the root cause of problems.
Conduct repairs on engines, including replacing worn parts, rebuilding components, and ensuring proper functionality.
Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively to complete tasks.
Maintain detailed records of all inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Stay updated with the latest techniques, tools, and technologies in diesel engine repair through continuous learning.
Collaborate with colleagues and other departments as needed to achieve operational goals.

Skill Requirements:

Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in working with engines and machinery.
Detail-oriented with the ability to perform precise and accurate repairs.
Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy parts, stand for long periods, and work in physically demanding environments.
Basic understanding of mechanical systems, including engines, transmissions, and hydraulics (experience or training is a plus).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to identify and resolve issues effectively.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team.
