We are seeking a talented and creative Fashion Designer to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with less than three years of experience or no prior experience in fashion design. If you have a passion for fashion, creativity, and a desire to learn, this role is perfect for you! In this position, you will contribute to the design of trendy and innovative apparel and accessories, working on various projects from concept development to final production.

Responsibilities:

Develop original designs for clothing, footwear, or accessory collections.
Create sketches, mood boards, and technical drawings to visualize concepts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including pattern makers, sample sewers, and product developers.
Assist in the selection of fabrics, trims, and materials that align with design vision.
Stay updated on fashion trends and market demands to inform design decisions.
Ensure designs meet quality standards and are executable within production constraints.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to the team.

Skill Requirements:

Strong understanding of fashion design principles, including color theory, typography, and composition.
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CAD (computer-aided design).
Excellent sketching and illustration skills.
Basic knowledge of pattern making and draping techniques is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to visualize designs in three dimensions.
Creativity and the ability to generate fresh and unique ideas.
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
A portfolio showcasing creative abilities is essential for candidates with less than three years of experience.
