Responsibilities:
- Lay bricks, blocks, and other masonry units in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Mix mortar or grout according to instructions and apply it correctly between bricks or stones.
- Ensure all materials are properly aligned and leveled using hand tools or power tools.
- Follow blueprints, sketches, or verbal instructions to complete projects accurately.
- Clean and maintain work areas, ensuring a safe and efficient workspace.
- Work collaboratively with other tradespeople to achieve project goals.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Skill Requirements:
- Basic understanding of masonry techniques (training will be provided).
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand, bend, and lift for long periods.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
