Goat Farmer - Full-Time Permanent Position
Responsibilities:
- Daily care and feeding of goats, ensuring their health and well-being.
- Monitoring the overall condition of the herd and reporting any health issues.
- Maintaining accurate records of feeding, breeding, and medical treatments.
- Managing pastureland and ensuring proper grazing conditions.
- Assisting with kidding season, including birthing and newborn care.
- Performing routine maintenance on farming equipment and tools.
- Adhering to all relevant agricultural regulations and safety standards.
Skill Requirements:
- A genuine passion for animals and a commitment to animal welfare.
- Basic knowledge of livestock husbandry (an advantage but not required).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to keep accurate records.
- Physical stamina, as the role involves lifting, walking long distances, and working in varying weather conditions.
- Team-player attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
