As a Hotel Service Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's services, including front desk, housekeeping, and guest relations. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the front desk, housekeeping, and guest services teams.
- Manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours and holidays.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Conduct regular property inspections to maintain cleanliness, safety, and standards.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., maintenance, food & beverage) to ensure seamless operations.
- Monitor budgeting, reporting, and cost control for assigned areas.
- Provide training and support to staff to improve performance and customer service skills.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and hotel activities.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security protocols.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve services.
Skill Requirements:
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to address guest concerns and operational challenges.
- Organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Basic understanding of customer service principles and experience in hospitality is an asset (but not required).
- Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure during busy periods.
- Proficiency in using basic computer systems and software for reservations, reporting, and communication.
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and work well as part of a team.
