Goat Farmer Job – Full-Time Permanent Position

You will be responsible for the daily care and management of our herd, ensuring their health and well-being while contributing to sustainable farming practices.
Responsibilities:
- Daily feeding and watering of goats, ensuring they have access to fresh and nutritious food.
- Monitoring the health and behavior of the herd, identifying any signs of illness or stress.
- Maintaining clean and safe living conditions for the animals, including sanitizing pens, shelters, and equipment.
- Assisting with breeding, birthing, and general care of newborn goats.
- Keeping accurate records of feeding schedules, health issues, and other relevant data.
- Working collaboratively with the team to achieve farm goals and maintain a productive environment.
- Performing routine tasks such as milking (if applicable) and managing feed supplies.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and promoting sustainable farming practices.
Skill Requirements:
- A genuine passion for animals and a commitment to their welfare.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently.
- Basic understanding of animal behavior and care, with a willingness to learn and improve skills.

- Some mechanical aptitude may be beneficial for operating farm equipment.
