Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints and specifications to accurately complete welding tasks.
- Set up and operate various welding equipment for optimal performance.
- Perform MIG, TIG, ARC, and other welding techniques as required.
- Conduct quality checks on welded products to ensure precision and integrity.
- Maintain and perform routine upkeep of welding machinery and tools.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including the use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals efficiently.
- Adapt to changing priorities and be flexible in tasks as needed.
Skill Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of welding principles and techniques.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 20kg and stand for extended periods.
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities.
- Willingness to learn new methods and technologies in the field.
- Familiarity with AWS certification standards is advantageous but not required.
