Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain air conditioning and refrigeration systems, including units, ductwork, and related components.
- Diagnose mechanical issues, identify malfunctions, and perform repairs or replacements as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Read blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics to understand system designs and requirements.
- Provide solutions for improving energy efficiency and system performance.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to deliver high-quality service.
Skill Requirements
- Basic understanding of HVACR (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration) systems is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Good manual dexterity and physical stamina, as the role involves lifting heavy equipment and working in tight spaces.
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate repairs and installations.
- Effective communication skills to understand instructions and explain solutions clearly.
