We are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our team as a Welder in a full-time, permanent role. This position is ideal for someone eager to learn and grow within the manufacturing or construction industry. No prior experience is required.
Responsibilities:
- Operate welding equipment such as MIG, TIG, or ARC welders to join, cut, or shape metal components according to blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and instructions to ensure precision in welding.
- Perform basic measurements and calculations to fit and assemble components accurately.
- Inspect and verify the quality of welded joints, ensuring they meet safety standards and specifications.
- Follow all health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Keep tools and equipment clean and well-maintained.
Skill Requirements:
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn on the job.
- Basic understanding of mathematics and measurements (e.g., inches, millimeters).
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality welds.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Knowledge of basic safety procedures is an asset.
