We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a full-time, permanent Goat Farmer. Responsibilities:
- Daily care and management of goats, including feeding, watering, and monitoring their health and well-being.
- Assist in breeding programs, ensuring proper mating and kidding processes.
- Maintain accurate records of feed consumption, health issues, and production outputs.
- Clean and sanitize living areas, equipment, and tools to ensure a safe and healthy environment for the goats.
- Rotate pastures and manage forage to optimize grazing conditions.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve farm goals and maintain efficient operations.
Skill Requirements:
- A genuine passion for animals and farming.
- Basic understanding of animal husbandry practices (training provided if necessary).
- Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to following established protocols.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills to address challenges on the farm.
