As a carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, erecting, installing, or repairing structures made of wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall. You'll work on various projects in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. With our comprehensive training program, you'll develop the skills needed to succeed in this hands-on role.
Responsibilities:
- Build, assemble, or repair wooden frameworks and structures.
- Construct stairways, partitions, doors, windows, and concrete forms.
- Follow blueprints, sketches, diagrams, or verbal instructions.
- Use hand tools (e.g., hammers, chisels) and power tools (e.g., saws, sanders).
- Adhere to safety standards and maintain a clean work environment.
Skill Requirements:
- Willingness to learn carpentry skills through on-the-job training.
- Physical fitness for standing, bending, lifting, and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision.
