Responsibilities:
- Shape and fabricate metal products using hand tools, forges, and welding equipment.
- Read blueprints, sketches, or technical diagrams to create custom designs.
- Repair and restore metal, ensuring quality and durability.
- Operate blacksmithing tools and machinery, including forges, hammers, tongs, and anvils.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Stay updated on new techniques and advancements in the field of blacksmithing.
Skill Requirements:
- Passion for craftsmanship and hands-on work.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Physical stamina, as the role involves heavy lifting, standing, and working with tools and machinery.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to different projects.
- Basic math skills for measuring, calculating dimensions, and understanding blueprints.
