Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement personalized nutrition plans tailored to meet individual needs and health goals.
- Assess and monitor clients' nutritional status, including dietary intake and health conditions.
- Provide education and guidance on healthy eating habits, food preparation, and menu planning.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care.
- Stay updated with the latest nutrition research, guidelines, and industry trends.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and communicate findings effectively.
Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program.
- Registration or eligibility for registration as a dietitian (e.g., RD, LN, etc.) with the appropriate regulatory body.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients, healthcare professionals, and other team members.
- Basic knowledge of healthcare settings and patient care is an asset but not required for early-career applicants.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail when planning meals and monitoring nutritional intake.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
