Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic - Full-Time Permanent Position
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers the opportunity to grow your skills in a dynamic environment. With or without experience, this role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, work with their hands, and provide reliable service in maintaining and repairing air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, or cooling system issues.
- Replace or repair faulty components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, and other parts.
- Follow safety protocols and industry standards while working with refrigerants and electrical systems.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to understand system layouts and specifications.
- Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for improvement or upgrades.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Stay updated on the latest technology and best practices in the field through continuous learning.
Skill Requirements:
- Basic understanding of air conditioning and refrigeration systems (training will be provided).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as blueprints and schematics.
- Good hand-eye coordination and physical stamina for lifting, bending, and working in tight spaces.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Teamplayer with excellent communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues.
- Basic computer literacy to manage job documentation and records.
