Join a passionate team dedicated to cultivating stunning flowers! We are seeking a full-time, permanent Flower Grower with a love for plants and nature. No prior experience is required, but candidates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for growing and caring for a variety of flowers from seed to bloom, ensuring high-quality, sustainable plant production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plant seeds, bulbs, or cuttings in greenhouses or outdoor beds.
- Water, fertilize, and monitor the growth of plants to ensure optimal health.
- Maintain greenhouse equipment and tools for planting, watering, and harvesting.
- Monitor soil conditions and adjust as needed for healthy plant development.
- Control pests and diseases using sustainable practices.
- Harvest flowers at peak bloom and prepare them for packaging or sale.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the growing area and equipment.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain accurate records of plant health and growth.
Skills Required:
- A passion for plants, gardening, or agriculture is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions for proper planting and care techniques.
- Physical stamina and endurance to work in a hands-on environment involving lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of plant life cycles and growing conditions is an asset (but not required).
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies in sustainable floriculture.
