Wine Maker (Full-Time Permanent Position)

Responsibilities:

Oversee all stages of wine production, including crushing, fermentation, blending, aging, and bottling.
Develop and implement winemaking techniques and processes to achieve desired flavors and styles.
Monitor and maintain quality throughout the production process, ensuring adherence to established standards.
Collaborate with vineyard and cellar teams to optimize grape quality and support sustainable practices.
Conduct sensory evaluations and analyze wine profiles to ensure consistency and meet customer expectations.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our winemaking processes.
Maintain detailed records, reports, and documentation of all production activities.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during production.

Skill Requirements:

Passion for wine and winemaking with a strong work ethic.
Basic knowledge of winemaking processes (training will be provided if needed).
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members.
Physical stamina, as the role involves standing for long periods, lifting, and working in a dynamic environment.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Basic math and computer skills (Excel and other relevant software).
