Wine Maker (Full-Time Permanent Position)

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all stages of wine production, including crushing, fermentation, blending, aging, and bottling.
- Develop and implement winemaking techniques and processes to achieve desired flavors and styles.
- Monitor and maintain quality throughout the production process, ensuring adherence to established standards.
- Collaborate with vineyard and cellar teams to optimize grape quality and support sustainable practices.
- Conduct sensory evaluations and analyze wine profiles to ensure consistency and meet customer expectations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our winemaking processes.
- Maintain detailed records, reports, and documentation of all production activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during production.
Skill Requirements:
- Passion for wine and winemaking with a strong work ethic.
- Basic knowledge of winemaking processes (training will be provided if needed).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members.
- Physical stamina, as the role involves standing for long periods, lifting, and working in a dynamic environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Basic math and computer skills (Excel and other relevant software).
