Job Summary
As an Airconditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting air conditioning and refrigeration systems in various settings, including commercial and residential buildings. This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering quality service.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain air conditioning and refrigeration systems according to manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in HVACR (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration) systems.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to perform repairs and installations accurately.
- Inspect systems for proper functioning and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Provide routine maintenance and inspections to prevent system malfunctions.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients to address their needs.
Skill Requirements
- No prior experience is required, but candidates with up to 3 years of relevant experience in HVACR are encouraged to apply.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn technical skills quickly.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina, as the role involves lifting heavy equipment, working in tight spaces, and standing for long periods.
